West Coast XC will be headed to the East Bay to check out the famous Dublin Distance Fiesta. Here is the preview of Saturday night's heats.
800 Meters

Kylie Hoornaert of Prospect, who finished fifth last spring at the California State Meet in the 800 headlines the girls 800. Other notable athletes include Lily Symon of Los Altos and Ava Padilla of Monte Vista.

Jackson Hein of Pleasant Valley made the finals in the California State Meet in the 800 last spring and other athletes to watch in the boys 800 include Mack Aldi of Carmel, Josh Griffen of Nevada Union and Lucas Alberts of Jesuit.
1600 Meters

Eleanor Raker of Galena (NV) qualified to Footlocker in the last two years and Anna Salter of Crystal Springs Uplands is one of the top returning California runners in the 1600 meters.

Benjamin Bouie of Crystal Springs Uplands ran 4:06 in the 1600 last year and leads a deep boys field in the 1600 meters. Eli Fitchen-Young of Santa Cruz, Landon Pretre of Menlo Schools, Aydon Stefanopoulas of Los Gatos, Miles Cook of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Drake Hoferer of Jesuit and Jackson Podurko of Trinity all make for a competitive 1600 meters race on Saturday.
3200 Meters

Hanne Thomsen of Montgomery (Santa Rosa) is a 3200 meter California state champion and holds the Dublin Distance Fiesta 3200 meter meet record. Hannah's teammate Seelah Kittelstrom is also entered in the girls 3200 along with Alexandra Powell of Monte Vista.

Trey Caldwell of De La Salle is the top returning seed in the boys 3200 meters race. Eli Fitchen-Young is entered as well as Broen Holman of Sonoroa, Arrin Sagiraju of Dougherty Valley, Andrew Burr of Sacramento County Day, Isaac Abbott of Jesuit and Jack Rattary of College Park.
The distance medley ends the meet on Saturday night.
