Wildwood Running hosts mile races for women and girls on Saturday night, March 1, and is part of a two day event.

On Friday night, Wildwood Running hosts a panel at the advertising company Wieden and Kennedy in Portland. The event is sold out this year, but can later be viewed on Runnerspace. The panelist include Sinclaire Johnson, a professional Nike athlete who qualified last week for the US in the indoor 1500. Marie Davis Markham, a six time Oregon high school state champion while at Lincoln, six time All-American at Oregon, assistant coach at Lincoln and Wildwood Running co-founder. Emma Bennett of Jesuit has won three individual state Oregon high school titles and will continue her running career at Georgetown in the fall. Emma won the first Wildwood Mile two years ago. Ellery Lincoln of Lincoln was the Oregon State Meet 1500 champion last spring as a freshman and has raced with her Lincoln team in the last two NXN meets. Ellery won last year's Wildwood Mile.

Although the panel is sold out, people can watch the event later on Runnerspace.
