A look back at an incredible weekend of racing at the Woodbridge Invitational!
Friday Night - Girls Varsity White Races
Amelia Sarkisian of Brentwood (CA) dominated the first varsity race of the evening by winning her race by over a minute in a time of 17:17.7. Big Bear (CA) girls won the White Varsity A team championship. In the B White girls varsity race, Giselle Fernandez of Riverbank (CA) won in a time of 17:27.8. Giselle is the younger sister of German Fernandez who won multiple California state titles, ran at Oklahoma State and the Bowerman Track Club. Laguna Beach girls won the B White team title.

Boys Varsity White Races
Landon Pretre of Menlo (CA) ran the fastest time Friday night to win in at time of 14:16.7. Pretre's first place finish helped Menlo win the team score. David Soria of American Leadership - Queens Creek (AZ) won the B White varsity race in a time of 14:49.4. Palos Verdes (CA) boys won the team title.

Girls Varsity Red Races
Ally Wheeler of Natrona Valley (WY) ran the fastest girl's time from the Friday night races with a time of 16:58.2. Wheeler's first place finish propelled Natrona Valley to win the team title for the Red A division. Natalie Gonzalez of Downey (CA) won the Red B race in a time of 17:30.1. Mater Dei (CA) girls won the Red B team race.

Boys Varsity Red Races
Kalel Brubaker of Natrona Valley (WY) came as close an athlete can of breaking fifteen minutes on the course by winning in a time of 15:00.0 in the Red A race. St. John Bosco (CA) took home the Red A team title. Evan Hadeishi of San Pedro (CA) on the Red B race in a time of 14:55.8. Santa Monica (CA) won the Red B team title.

Saturday - Girls Varsity Gold Races
Emmy Angelo of Ponderosa (CA) opened the Saturday evening varsity races with a win in a time of 17:38.7. St. Francis (CA-SJ) won the Gold A team title. Khloe DeLaTorre of Vacaville (CA) won the Gold B race in a time of 17:11.1 and Newbury Park (CA) girls won the Gold B team score.

Boys Varsity Gold Races
Andres Lomeli of Kimball (CA) won a close race over Oliver Clippinger-Zimm of Thousand Oaks (CA) in a time of 14:24.0. Del Oro (CA CC) boys won the Gold A team score. Jack Medina of Somerset Academy Sky Pointe (NV) won the Gold B race in a time of 14:24.4. Monache won the Gold B team race in convincing style.

Girls Varsity Blue Races
Taylor Drewry of Basha (AZ) won the Blue A race in a time of 17:10.5 while another Arizona high school, Perry, won the girls Blue A team title. Samantha Pacheco of Granada Hills won the Blue B race in a time of 17:34.6 and Hamilton (AZ) took home the team prize.

Boys Varsity Blue Races
Boston Walseth of Basha (AZ) was the Blue A varsity winner in a time of 14:36.4 and Carlmont (CA) boys won the Blue A varsity team title. Simon Barlow of Bountiful (UT) won the Blue B boys varsity race in a time of 14:39.0. San Clemente (CA) took the short drive up I-5 to win the Blue B title.

Girls & Boys Varsity Rated Race
Competition heated up with the last four races of the evening with the girl's rated race starting things off. Erika Kirk of Vista Murrieta (CA)won the Rated Varsity race in a time of 16:33.0. Local school El Toro (CA) won the girl's rated championship. Oaks Christian (CA) teammates Christian Yoder and Cooper McNee went first and second in the Rated Varsity with Yoder winning in a time of 14:15.7. Mountain View (CA) won the Rated Varsity boys team title.

Bob Day Sweepstakes Girls
Several of the top returners from last year's girls sweepstakes returned to Woodbridge which made for an exciting race. Rylee Blade of Santiago Corona (CA) pulled away from a stellar field to win in a course record time of 15:20.3. Chiara Dailey of La Jolla (CA) had an impressive second place finish in a time of 15:28.2. Lewisville Flower Mound (TX) scored under 100 points in a large field for an impressive win and Ventura (CA) was a close second in the team championship.

Doug Speck Sweepstakes Boys
Josiah Tostenson of Crater (OR) took the pace out in the boys sweepstakes race and a strong field followed. At the finish Owen Powell of Mercer Island (WA) came from behind to win in a time of 13:30.3 and Tostenson finished second in 13:30.5. Herriman (UT) won their third straight boys sweepstakes in dominant fashion with 58 points and Southlake Carroll (TX) finishing second with 173 points.
